I understand the process but he just seems like such a great candidate. I’m not American, and have only ever visited on holiday, so I’m not sure what the feeling for him is amongst the people.

He’d win a lot of votes in the UK, especially up North.

I'm not convinced about that tbh. In track 1 of Abelard's album, which he plays on repeat, there is truth in the idea that neither the Republicans or Democrats really understand a large chunk of the electorate. I think Sanders would have been far riskier than Biden if your priority was simply removing Trump from office, but he certainly had a chance

I agree, from what I've seen he comes across as a far better politician. That wouldn't stop him getting vilified by the press though.
