I think that being given the public backing and approval of members of the Royal Family will win it for him. We all know how much the Americans like to be told what to do by Royalty......

Trump will win this.....
In some ways, oddly, the British Royal Family May be more popular here in the US than in the UK. That said, I doubt Prince Harry weighing in has any bearing. Anyone who has even a passing interest in him and what he has to say was probably already voting for Biden.

I can understand your fear. Trump losing will send out a message around the world. Populist politics will be undermined. Trump and his fellow travellers have been seeding right wing populist movements and parties around the world. Yes, they pre-dated his presidency, but they have grown under that umbrella his administration has provided. A Biden presidency will have ramifications for all maverick politicians in the West, that's for sure.

Nah I don’t think so. The fact that it’s even close is as worrying as ever. Should be a whitewash for the Democrats. I mean, look at the state of him

You can see Piotr practically trying to will a Trump second term into existence. Probably the only world leader who thinks Boris is credible because they are both complete conmen.

Trump's shot his bolt in th campagn already. There's no massive campaign rallies for him to do his stuff. He's neutered and his record over Covid19 will see him trounced.

They all shelter under Trump's patronage: Salvini, Le Pen, Orban, Johnson....

A cold wind is going to blow in from Washington in November.

I mean this man was caught on camera bragging about sexually assaulting women before winning an election.
Johnson is still polling 50/50 with Labour despite being an utter lickspittle gobshite. This is just the beginning of the right wing populists. It’s going to end badly

Underlying it all people want stability in a crisis like this. They wont go with crackpots. Biden polls well above Trump in the US, even Starmer has overhauled a deficit with the Tories.

We all thought that last time...
I think (hope?) that the people doing pre-election polling learned a lot from their mistakes last time, and have a much clearer picture of the actual state of the race this time. Clinton was so far ahead in the national polls that I’m not sure anyone really realized they still needed to get pretty granular in some areas that ended up being really close races. That’s not happening this time around. At least that’s how I keep reassuring myself.

And immediately upon that news breaking, WikiLeaks released all those thousands of emails by DNC officials.

And then Comey publicly announced he was reopening the investigation into Hillary's buttery males.

And the cable news networks continued giving Donald what amounted to a war chest's worth of free publicity.

The presidency was practically thrown at Trump.

I keep reminding myself that the biggest difference between 2016 and 2020 is, in fact, the candidates.

Donald Trump was an unknown political entity in 2016. Hillary Clinton was well-known and had high negatives. So virtually all the late-breaking vote went the way of the new guy, as did most of the vote that was polled as third-party and changed their mind in the last few weeks. It was enough to tip Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania (I'd argue Florida, too).

DJT is no longer an unknown political entity. In fact, his negatives are now at least as high as Clinton's were. Biden has nothing like the negative polling of those two. So, it comes down to turnout. Dems vote, they win.

Also, there doesn't seem to be nearly the amount of people who feel a duty to vote, but are going to vote third party because they don't like the mainstream candidates. That happened a lot in 2016, and each of those votes were essentially as good as a vote for Trump.

He's no longer an unknown, yet somehow he's still trying to campaign as the outsider. Of course, anything to get people to look away from his actual legislative record is probably the right move politically.
