If you remember the time before corona you would know. I keep it simple for you, Trump's economic program has been very simple. It's an attack on taxes and regulations with an extra dose of spending on infrastructure and the military.
Oh, you mean the temporary reduction of taxes for middle class that actually make their taxes higher than before come 2021 and beyond? And that keeps the corporate tax breaks as permanent?

Yeah, believe it or not, taxes are a necessary thing. Not that someone in *checks notes* Finland(?) would understand how that works tho.

Rich people got richer and the stock market went up.

Regular folks didn't benefit at all.
I know this. But I’d like him to explain specifically how. What the mechanism was. How the policies benefited.

Because real wages fell. Consumer confidence didn’t move at all. GDP growth didn’t move. Cap ex actually reduced.

what did increase was buy backs. Which artificially increase ROE. which benefits stock prices.

that was the effect. There was barely even a single trickle into the real economy.

Its almost like "trickle down" economics has been a sham since the 80s and a way to consolidate money at the top and keep it there..

You clearly didnt pay attention in the last for years... beyond leftist propaganda ofcourse. Economy was booming.. Job numbers great especially for minorities. I'm off to work now so keep it up champ.
Go ACB!!!

Why do you believe that the president controls that?

Policy matters to the economy, but presidents generally have a lot less influence on the overall economy than people think. Bush 41 didn't cause the recession that cost him a second term. Clinton had nothing to do with the tech boom of the '90s, and Bush 43 caused neither the recession that followed nor the financial crisis at the end of his term.

Didn't see this one lol

Even a racist like Bibi couldn't go for it

Netanyahu is not going to denigrate Trump's opponent when it looks like that's who he's going to be working with for the next four years.

Yeah but Trump never tweeted any of that, so you can't really expect Finners to know it.
