10th place Everton on the back of losing there 1st 2 league games, and without a goal so far were home today v a chelsea side on the back of drawing there 1st 2 games 0-0 and unbeaten in a long while in the league, and once again from chelsea's pov it was another 0-0,there was not really to much in the way of clear chances 1st half with probably chelsea the better team, but in the 2nd half Everton had a few,one of them were A speculative shot from Kaagman had the chelsea keeper somehow fumble it and back peddling to scoops the ball off the line,it was hard to tell if it was over the line or not with having no side camera to see,or if they did,it didnt replay from that angle, chelsea keeper Telford on 60mins then had to be alert when Magill saw her shot going top corner tipped away,on 74 Telford again kept chelsea level when she saved a Kaagman shot low down,on 80 mins chelsea then hit the top of the bar when Spence met a header from about 10 yards out,on 84 Millie Bright somehow headed over for chelsea, then on 88mins chelsea had a great chance when Drew Spence on the right hand side got away from the Everton right back, pulled a ball back and Fran Kirby unmarked in the box saw her cross shot just go wide when she should really have scored, from a needless corner give away cheaply in injury time chelsea very nearly scored when a header just went wide,,but this game ended 0-0 and gained Everton there 1st point of the season and moved them 9th

SUNDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
EVERTON LADIES 3 BRIGHTON WOMEN 3

A game between 2 winless WSL teams was brought to life by Brighton in just the 3rd min after they made a bright start when Danielle Buet unleashed a fierce right-footed shot into the top corner from 20 yards out ,this came after Brighton were close to taking the lead in the 1st min when Everton keeper Levell saved low down from a Jodie Brett shot,on 14 mins Brighton keeper Hourihan comfortably saved a long range effort from Gabby George, but Everton drew level on 27 mins when Inessa Kaagman's on target shot deflected in far post for her 1st Everton goal this comming in the week she made her Holland debut,Everton's Simone Magill should have took advantage of a wayward Fliss Gibbons clearance mins later but scuffed her shot yards out,on 40mins Fliss Gibbons delivered an excellent ball towards Umotong into the box from the left that flicked off the Everton defender George's head and just past her own post, right down the other end and again Gabby George had her shot saved by the post,it did not really have enough power to trouble the keeper, but then Gabby George who is man utd's Jesse Lingard cousin scored 2 and a half mins into 1 minute of injury time when she headed home from a corner to make the score 2-1 Everton ht

Brighton started the 2nd half just like the 1st were they were on top and Aileen Whelan's shot was just deflected wide,Bruinenberg's effort for Everton was deflected wide before she was subbed not long later by Chloe Kelly,Brighton's Chloe Peplow's up and down shot caused Keeper levell to make a very good save, and just 2mins later on 67mins Everton went 3-1 up when Kaagman's cross from the left found Chloe kelly free in the box and with time she finished brilliantly for what looked like Everton's 1st league win,but 2 goals in 3mins on 75 and 78mins from Ellie Brazil both similar headers put pay to that-the 1st one heading in from close range following Whelan's flick-on at the near post and the 2nd one heading home from a Danielle Buet free-kick free at the back post,Everton nearly retook the lead on 81 when Georgia Brougham has time and space in the area to turn but draged her shot wide.Brazil very nearly won it for Brighton on 87 and should have really when she out paced the 2 everton defenders to a long ball and levell came out diving to save the shot,George then very nearly won it for Everton when her shot bobbled along the ground and just wide in injury time, the game ended 3-3

Great stuff as always mate. We appreciate all your efforts ;)

Inappropriate Behaviour
Bottling a lead to draw 3-3. Everton, that. Drawing against Chelsea isn't too bad though.

Can someone please explain to me why jokes about women being in the kitchen are funny? I genuinely don't get it. Amazingly, I have a job. I am a damn good cook, though.
I'm sick of this women's lib crap - Nobody cares about women's football full stop. The promoting of it as a sport equal to men's football is ridiculous. The world has gone PC mad. Women commentating on football when there are men far bettter qualified for the role etc.

and yet you care enough to comment. if womens football is not for you then stay away from it, I have a 9 year old daughter who loves it and gets to meet the female players after the games.

3rd Bottom Everton Ladies facing 4th bottom West ham women, were looking for there 1st league win in there 5th attempt, and on 5 mins it began well when Everton took the lead through Claudia Walker, who scrambled home from close range after good work from Kelly and worm.on 23mins A stray back-pass from Everton found Jane Ross, and the striker opted to shoot from around 30 yards out but was saved by toffee's keeper Levell,on 25 mins Everton's Finnigan tried a shot from similar distance and west ham keeper Spencer tipped it wide. But on 27mins west ham do make it 1-1 from Ross who after hitting the bar heads in the rebound to get her 1st goal for west ham since her summer move from Man City, just 2mins later and Everton keeper Levell makes a brilliant save from Flaherty,on the stroke of ht WEST HAM took the lead 2-1 when striker Lehmann is through on goal, and coolly converts

On 54mins Everton Keeper Levell saved a pen making excellent save from Ross, after Visalli was brought down by Finnigan,on 62 Megan Finnigan decided to test Becky Spencer from distance, and it was easy for the W/H keeper, then on 65 west ham again were close to getting there 3rd when they hit the woodwork twice in seconds when 1st Visalli hit the crossbar from distance with a curling strike, and then De Graaf's volley from the rebound then hits the post,on 76 Everton would have made it 2-2 if Kaagman or Turner would have connected from a great kelly cross, the game ended with the toffee's 3rd league defeat in 5 games
