Thanks mate. Southport any closer to Goodison than the previous ground?
Could be a tough one to make.
Google maps say a touch longer in miles and a tiny touch longer to get to mins wise, but like everything, its how fast you drive, things you use to travel, directions you go etc,1st half would be the most you see of the girls game,if you wanted to make it for the start Everton v west ham game

SUNDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
BIRMINGHAM WOMEN 1 EVERTON LADIES 0

Today was the day it all began again as it was day 1 of the new WSL season, and Everton Ladies had a tough trip to start of with, and it could not have started any worst when after just 42 seconds Birmingham Women took the lead after Ellen White picked up the ball in the middle of the pitch and played a through ball for Wellings who slotted it past Levell. Ellen white had a diving header disallowed on 24 mins for offside for Birmingham, the game in the 1st 30mins was really a battle in the middle as there was no real efforts of note bar the goal,Birmingham had 2 more chances late in the half when really on either it should have been 2-0-Hayley Ladd the 1st to miss the target with a free header, then min later Lucy Staniforth headed just wide,it was only 1-0 ht and you would have hoped the 2nd half would be a lot better from Everton's POV.

2nd half began and once again,Birmingham were close to a 2nd when Ewers had a shot cleared off the line, white then Quinn going close again for birmingham before a claudia walker shot for Everton was deflected wide,ex toffee paige williams then saw her shot come back off the crossbar and it looked only a matter of time till the 2nd goal was comming, but somehow it did not,Kelly for Everton saw her late shot just go wide, but the final score was 1-0,with the crowd was 603

The next Ladies game is home in the WSL cup 16th september were they will be hoping to win there 1st group game after losing the 1st game, when they face Reading women who have 2 wins from 2 and are top of the group, and are only 1 of 2 teams via the 4 groups that have 2 wins from 2

SUNDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER 2 KO
CONTINENTAL TYRES CUP
EVERTON LADIES 3 READING WOMEN 2

Everton Ladies were playing there 2nd game of the Continental cup today after losing there 1st game in the group as well as losing there 1st league game last week, and were up against Reading Women who have 2 wins from 2 in the cup and had won there 1st league game,so it was a tough game for Everton to attempt to win a 1st win in any comp so far, overall Everton's record since september last year comming to this week in all comps is won 10-6 of them cup games, loss 17 and drew 3,so a big improvement needed this season based on the last year, anyway onto the game and right from the kick off Inessa Kaagman clean through after a through ball from chloe kelly had her show saved by Reading keeper Rachel Laws, but on 14mins Everton did take the lead through Claudia Walker who's low shot beat the keeper,Reading thought they had levelled on 19 only for the goal to be disallowed after a follow up shot from a free kick was put in the net,but on 24mins it was 1-1 when Everton midfielder Megan Finnigan Turned a Reading cross into her own net,But just 2mins later on 26mins Everton retook the lead when walker shot from distance and the shot was fumbled into the net by Keeper Laws, walker was close to her hattrick on 34 when a brilliant everton move had the keeper tipping walker's shot just around the post,Angharad James right on ht had the Reading keeper once again making a brilliant save to stop it been 3-1 and to cap off an excellent 1st half from Everton-2-1 Everton led ht

The 2nd half began with a chance for Reading's Burton which was easily saved from the angle by Everton's 20 year old keeper Becky Flaherty making her debut after signing from Liverpool, the next chance came to Everton when captain Danielle Turner after another excellent through ball played to her from Kaagman saw her angled shot fly wide of the far post, but a min later new dutch signing Inessa Kaagman got her 1st Everton goal to make it 3-1 on 56 when she played a one two with chloe kelly then cliped the ball over the Reading keeper, kelly for Everton then saw her shot go wide on 58,Reading for a short while then got on top as they tried to get back in the game and Brooke Chaplin's shot went the wrong side of the post from her point of view on 78mins,but on 79 she made no mistake this time and got Reading back into it when scored past flaherty to make it 3-2,Davison on 80 then tried a curler that was so close to making it 3-3 but was just wide, but Everton held on to an impressive 3-2 win against a Reading team that had won 10 of there previous 13 games, this was there 1st defeat since april and only there 2nd since Everton beat them in early feb

Group 2 North
Reading Women 6 points from 3 games

Man Utd Women Women 3 points from 2 games

If any game is level at 90mins,The game goes to pens for a bonus point-ie Liverpool drew 3-3 at Durham today, but won the pen shoot out for the

THURSDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 7PM KO
WOMENS SUPER LEAGUE
EVERTON LADIES 0 MAN CITY WOMEN 4

On a cold, damp wet night as it mostly is in the uk, it was Everton Ladies, comming into there 2nd league game of the season looking for there 1st point of the season after defeat in the 1st game, but on the back of an excellent cup weekend win, facing a man city team that would be difficult to break down, and one Everton had lost every game against since the WSL was formed, and so it proved,as on 13mins it was Man city's Georgia Stanway who fired a brilliant angled drive though a pile of players after a headed clearance from megan Finnigan give keeper Levell no chance,Steph Houghton on 22 saw her free kick just go wide,on 26 Everton's claudia walker saw her shot tipped around the post, but again on 29 man city were close this time a Jen Beattie header cleared from infront of the line by Everton captain Dan Turner,on 40 a inswinging corner went to the back post were no one was,and just a min later down the other end, nikita parris headed over for man city when free with a chance she should have scored with,it was 1-0 ht

The 2nd half began and on 48mins,Jill scott saw her header from close range saved well by keeper Levell, while the follow up after been cleared saw the toffee's keeper save again after the shot came through an Everton player's legs,a parris hot on 59 was easy for the Everton keeper for the next city chance,on 61 mins Everton went close to going level when a Dan Turner cross was met by walker who was not expecting it and it basically her her,and landed on the top of the bar and out,but the linesman's flag was up anyway so would not have counted, but just 2 mins later man city on 62 did go 2-0 up when parris side footed home from close range after an excellent through ball,5 mins later parris got her 2nd of the night when a cross along the 6 yard area from Lauren Hemp was finished neatly by parris into the roof of the net past the keeper and 2 defenders,Levell again made another save late on with her legs, but it became 4-0 man city in injury time when man city's Charlie Emslie finished brilliantly from the angle,AND 4-0 IS THE WAY IT ENDED

As said earlier, the Everton Ladies game this sunday 2pm v chelsea is live on the BBC Red button or the bbc website
