I can always forgive some arrogance and narcissism in people who are at the absolute pinnacle of their profession.

Zlatan thinks he's brilliant, and to be fair he is.

Whereas Balotelli for example has that attitude, but he's not proven himself enough on the pitch to justify it. Bendtner is another one.

I'd argue that you need that ultimate belief in your own ability (call it arrogance if you will) to be able to succeed.

Ibra has it in spades. He's started putting the team first in recent times and his game has improved as a direct result, he was selfless working for Sweden from the #10 role in the Euros and despite the fact that he lacked a fit/firing #9 he didn't resort to trying to do everything himself. I'm disappointed that we'll not get to see him play in the EPL to be frank.

Mario has won more at 21 than most will achieve in their careers, he's got the medals and now needs to start putting in consistent performances to prove himself.

...you may well mock me, but I quite like Bendtner. He'll come good somewhere one day

I'd say our boy Jelavic has it too, although i'm dreading being proven wrong next season when he scores two goals when being played out wide ffs...

He's getting on a bit now, no doubt he's still absolute class, but he's never going to turn down becoming the second highest paid player in the world.

PSG are going in the right direction, great city, big fanbase and buying some world class players.

Bendtner's all right and I've said as much before, but he's not world class and certainly not the best player in the world like he genuinely thinks. Balotelli's clearly a talent too, and I agree that this self-belief is important and especially so for strikers. BUT there's confidence and astronomical over-confidence.

one of the best strikers in the world no doubt.
Personally I question his move to Paris. Stupid move.

At the end of the day it's his career. He's won pretty much everything and done pretty much everything, so why would he turn down a giant pay day? And it's not like he's moving to an obscure league without quality like Drogba for example. He's moving to a team that are trying to become a European force.

What's happening with Chelsea and Hulk?
Last I heard the deal was about to be completed... That was like a month ago. Is it on? or off? or somewhere in the ether?

Sky Sports understands Liverpool are preparing to make a bid for Swansea midfielder Joe Allen.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers worked with Allen when he was in charge at the Liberty Stadium last season.

Although there has been talk of an agreement that Rodgers would not raid his former club, financial reality dictates that Swansea would be forced to consider significant interest in their players

What was the point of the agreement??

Clyne seals Saints switch
Full-back agrees move

England Under-21 international Nathaniel Clyne has completed his move to Southampton after penning a four-year deal.

Clyne has moved from Crystal Palace, the club he began his career with, after his contract at Selhurst Park expired.

After lengthy talks the two clubs have now agreed a deal for Clyne - who had already agreed terms with Southampton.

Clyne has now put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal having passed his medical with the club.
