How many midfeilders to Chelsea need seriously:

Essien
Romeu
Ramires
Lampard
Mata
Mikel
Malouda
De Bruyne
Meriless
Hazard
Marin
McEachran

They are just about to sign Oscar and have bid 32 mill euros for Willem as well, seriously their midfield is nearly bigger than our squad.

pretty sure they are wacked.
(---->spain style) ??

*considers emigrating to Paris

Surely PSG will piss the league this year. How did they lose out to Montpellier last year, who had John Utaka as one of their star players!

Sky Sports understands Liverpool are preparing to make a bid for Swansea midfielder Joe Allen.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers worked with Allen when he was in charge at the Liberty Stadium last season.

Although there has been talk of an agreement that Rodgers would not raid his former club, financial reality dictates that Swansea would be forced to consider significant interest in their players

What was the point of the agreement??

i'm not sure he'll go there. i grew up with the lid and he was a man utd fan, might still be, but i'm almost certain he wont be too eager to leave swansea. They always have been the nearest league club to where we are from and he's been on their books since he was 9. other clubs didnt take a punt on him because of his size, whereas swansea did.

How many midfeilders do Chelsea need seriously:

Essien Never recovered from his injury yet, hopefully he can
Romeu Still learning
Ramires Great player
Lampard On his last legs
Mata Great player
Mikel Should be sold
Malouda Will be sold
De Bruyne Young and learning
Meriless Great cover
Hazard Cant wait to see him
Marin Same as Hazard
McEachran Young and learning

They only have around 4 top midfielders, a few of those will be sold.

Cameron set for Stoke
Personal terms and international clearance remain an issue

Stoke have agreed a fee to take America international Geoff Cameron to the Britannia Stadium.

A price of $2.5million (£1.6m) was set by Major League Soccer, which determines a player's valuation in the States, and the Potters have agreed to the deal.

The 27-year-old Houston Dynamo defender is now discussing personal terms with the Premier League club, who still need to secure international clearance for the transfer.

That could be a stumbling block because Cameron has not met the FIFA requirement of playing 75 per cent of his country's competitive internationals over the last two years.

Former US boss Bob Bradley has agreed to verify that this would have happened had Cameron been fit but Stoke chairman Peter Coates has stressed they are taking nothing for granted.

"The deal is a work in progress as we speak," Coates told the Stoke Sentinel.

"We are still talking on personal terms and we need to make sure we get international clearance for him.

"But we are hopeful we will get that clearance on the basis of his history, his background and his achievements to date.

"We can see no reason why we won't get that clearance, but obviously we are taking nothing for granted."

Malouda to Brazil is an interesting one, like. European players going to South America was unheard of just a year or two back (yes, I know him and Seedorf and Deco and Liedson were all technically born down there but still, the transfer movement is normally the other way.)

Charlie Mitten is about the only previous example I can think of.
