Our appreciation once more.

Hello everybody,

I have been asked by my family to say thank you again for all the comments and best wishes conveyed by the lovely members of the forum. They have been a great source of comfort in a difficult time.

Thanks, Deepak.

I feel terrible about what has happened and also that this is the first time I have looked at this thread. I remember Vijay hadn't been on here very long but seemed to have a great personality and also great insight. I'm sure he'll be up there with the big man having a word in his ear... 'Psst, how about giving Arshavin a shove towards Goodison Park and Ronaldo - and Rooney - a shove towards Spain! (y)

RIP Vijay. Enjoy your bird's eye view of all the home AND away games this season!

I'm brand new to this site and this is my first post. I hope when I sign off, I receive comments as good as those attributed to Vijay. Always sad to lose a member of the family. RIP Vijay. Best regards to your family.

It is another sad news to hear but things do happen when you least expected, we all wish him rest in peace and we should welcome him back to us in his next life.

Hope your family could get through this great lost.

Your dad was a favourite poster of mine and I would always read whatever he had to say because it was always valid and sensible.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
I lost my own father some years ago, he collapsed and died while out walking the dog. The sense of shock that envelops you for weeks and months is something hard to describe and even harder to manage. For many months after his death, I would dreamthat I was looking for him but could never find him. It was, perhaps, my brain still trying to come to terms with losing my best friend and my father. There is no point in pretending that the pain goes away quickly because it doesnt but the raw agony pulling you apart now will slowly ease and become bearable in time.
No words can really ease your families suffering but as you've seen from these posts, the family of Blues are there for you, always.

hey mate,

I didnt know your dad but i enjoyed reading his posts very much.

My condolences go out to you and your family.

RIP Vijay.

Just thought I'd check in with you Deepak and ask how you're getting on. After watching friends and relatives deal with bereavement, I've become aware that there's an understandable outpouring of support and sympathy immediately after an unexpected death - but after that, people inevitably move on and the really hard part begins for the family. Life has to go on but there's a gap where a familiar and much loved person once was.

So just thought I'd let you know that some are still thinking of you and yoyur family. Keep your chin up, if you can.

Good sentiment. I think you speak for us all. Nice one mate.

I am new to this forum so i never had the pleasure of interacting with your father. Deepak, it would be fitting and a tribute to your father if you continued to follow his legacy of being a forum member here in time. RIP Vijay, My thoughts and deepest sympathy are with you and your family. Stephen.
