Deepak.
I didn't really know Vijay from his posts but I also would like to offer my condolences to you & your family. I think you did Vijay a great service by introducing him to a whole new world of Everton here on GOT. By the sounds of things, he enjoyed the time he shared with us so, well done Deepak.

Out of curiosity, who do you support? Regardless of who it is, you would always be welcome here.

Wow, great to see this website managed to bring some joy to him when he was very ill.

This is the first time I've seen this thread, I am late but I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

RIP Vijay.

I remember reading this thread when I was a lurker, and it was hard for me to comprehend how a forum could mean so much to someone. Now I know.

Same here mate. I remember feeling cut up reading this thread when he died, and those feelings are here again. So, so sad. RIP.

Also, beautifully done by Danny and the rest of GOT, a real show of class with their respect for him, it's what makes this forum so great, the people behind it.

This is the first time I've seen this thread as I only started lurking last year and joined this year.

RIP Vijay.

So amazing that this forum could give him some joy, in what was a very tough period in his life. This is what makes Everton Football Club the greatest club in the world: the people who support it. Whether it be Vijay, the posters on this forum, or the bloke screaming in the Paddock.

I never knew anything about this until it was bumped yesterday. Having read through it and then looking at some of Vijay's posts before he passed away it just confirms what a great place this site can be.

RIP Vijay

The endless hours spent on this website has definitely now proved to be worthwhile.

As Nebbiolo just said, he seemed a great bloke. I can only echo what he said, I'm sorry for you and your family.

RIP Vijay. Enjoy having a game of footy with Dean, Labone and the rest of the boys.

More than echo this, fantastic words from Dan.
