I was hoping to see some nice one touch play on the regular, which sadly hasn't materialised yet. Other than that he's doing well so far, certainly in the non-football side of things he's excellent.

To be so close off 2nd in the league at this stage, having played Spurs, City and Chelsea already, is a phenomenal start to the Martinez era. With a winnable game at Palace to come next week then the small matter of the old enemy and Stoke's yard dogs to come after the internationals, we could be in an even better position by the time we have our first reunion with Moyes at Snake Mountain on December 4th

we've got a great bunch of lads here, we're all just playing for each other

we're just gonna take each game as it comes

Bill: "We're thinking about hiring you Roberto."

Roberto: "I'll get you into the Champions League."

Everton Support: "Wait, what !!!???"

Well, to say that he's on the right track after a bit of a tough start (three draws) wouldn't be out of line. I'm very pleased at this point and would have to be digging hard to find something that I'm not happy about.

Sorry to put a dampener on things, but after 10 games, I think we are sitting just about where we should be given the squad we have. Not great, not bad but pretty much average and expected. I was hoping to have a few more points by now, but we are doing ok.
When I looked at the fixture list at the start of the season, I was pretty sure we would have been top after 3 games and with a bit of luck, top at the end of September. A tad optimistic of course, but I thought it was possible.

Of course it is still far far to early to judge RM on his results thus far, but to me, he has performed in line with minimum expectations.
However, if we smash Palace next week, and the RS at home after that and I will be very pleased.

Yeah...I think it's clear who the top seven are (can't see Southampton staying in the mix)...will be interesting to see the order of those seven on Jan 1.

you are correct; Southampton won't stay in the mix for long. Everyone (the media) is singing Pochettino's praises and the Saints fabled defensive record. It won't last.. just look at their upcoming fixtures to close out the year...
