As far as myself, I think this side isn't as good as the general consensus is at times but the players themselves are better than they think they are and can play better than Moyes will let them play...partially due to his own need to play with defensive responsibilities always niggling the back of their mind and the worry of a light squad. They're both valid points, in their own way, but it hampers this side, IMHO.
the fact that it exists is down to the manager too though. The fact it will achieve nothing at all, is down to the manager.
7 nil mate. Bergkamp was sublime that day, one of his finest performances. Video:

Opening day of the season, at Goodison, Cars got ours where we lost 4-1 to Arsenal. (Grav assist). Odd fact, Cars scored the first and the last goals of the campaign for us that season.
Not the only time we've let Arsenal walk all over us, they've thrashed us quite a few times in Moyes era.I was utterly pis%&ed off with that 7-0. It didn't matter that it didn't affect the standings in the table, it was about professional pride, and we couldn't be arsed that day, thinking "job done". It was completely unprofessional to just lay down at let them walk all over us.
