With players on form... our current team looks a country mile ahead of the other team. I do love how much the team has developed in under a decade with very little money spent.
No wonder we've had so few clean sheets this season with Howard not playing centrally FFS.

They could do something this current team can't and keep clean sheets consistently. Think Moyes was one of the first in that period of time to use 4-5-1 also and maybe caught teams out with it.
We brought Arteta in on loan in January to replace Graveson when he left for Madrid.I was going for the team we finished the season with... i'm pretty sure Yobo was injured and Gravesen had left in January.
You're 100% correct though, the centre mid partnership when we were getting all those 1-0 wins was Carsley Gravesen with Arteta on the Right and Cahill behind the striker..
