Takeover?

So that's clear then.

So your position is that it may be true, it may not be true? Because that was my position when I questioned the statement that it was 99.9% certain to be true. I certainly never said at any point it was tosh, just that it comes from an uncertain source. Glad we agree anyway.

I would say it's a bit less than 99.9% certain to be true, too. It may well be based in fact, but until either a PL club or the Ras al-Khaimah family make a statement, it remains a rumour.

99.9% includes the possibility of it not being true, it's very slim but still includes it

Would you like the opportunity to downgrade the odds?

Or even better, 99.9% suggests a one in a thousand chance of it not happening. Would you give me odds of 100/1 on it not happening? I'm giving you a big, big edge there.... :)

From Danish news. Seems to narrow it down to us, West Ham and Pompey. But it then it kinda says that West Ham and Pompey already have investors and that Bill is looking for a 'cash-strong' investor:D

We're in the money, lids.

Men hvilken?

Just so that you're clear on my position.

I believe that the basic story is true.

I am not convinced that we are the recipients of ths "takever"

It is not my role to convince you otherwise on the truth of the story. If you want to remain sceptical, that's entirely up to you.

By the end of this week, we'll know the truth either way.

And still I see no quotes from people. Untill I do, I see nothing here to be honest. Every news report is only from the original source, nothing new here.

Im surprised the club hasnt come out and said anything, its usually their style well Ian Ross's anyway (Hi Ian)!

Todays been up and down resigning Lars = No Takeover, Going in for Stephan Defour = Takeover (maybe)

Anyway bidding 5 mill for Naughton and 10 mill for Defour means regardless of a takeover we have a few sponds this window.

Sort it out Sheikh!

Thank god I speak Danish... Oh no wait, i'm not a kopite, i'm English! (or Dutch/American/Canadian etc)

BTW on the reliability of the original source... from the About Us section of their website

WAM is a major arm of the Ministry of Information & Culture in terms of implementing the Ministrys media policy. It provides daily news coverage of official and other events throughout the country and is one of the key sources of information for all media establishments in the Emirates.

I would think that suggests that they are quite reliable. Unless ofcourse you are of the opinion that Governments routinely lie to their constituents!!

I'd hate the club if it wasn't us now. They know there is all this speculation, they should either put it to an end......or it best be true.

Rumours, rumours rumours.....still it makes you think IF it were true , where would the initial investment go.......We all hope for a mighty war chest for Moysie but ............ im afraid I am in the camp of lets wait n see.
