I dunno, I reckon I'd be more annoyed if I'd watched the game and seen us get mullered like but judging from the team it was clearly a chance to rotate, try out other players and dish out game time whilst not being too concerned about the result. After seeing their near full strength team I wasn't really expecting much, and personally I'm not bothered about the Capital One Cup. I know some people are but that's just my opinion.
Nah, I'm not bothered about the Capital Cup either, we win so much silverware anyway.........

He had to play some of those fringe players, just to see how they would perform, would you rather he did that in a EL or PL game? Yeah we were poor and the result hasnt gone our way again, but i think we will see more of Garbutt and Besic, and Oviedo too. We didnt get Miralles or Naismith injured as we are keeping them for Saturday. Had we played them that'd been wrong too. Lets face it our defence will be as it was against Wolfsburg/WBA and we will take the fight to them on Saturday

Why rotate on Sunday as well though? Going into the derby on the back of 2 defeats conceding 6 goals isn't great.

For me, you don't rotate until the side is settled, especially 5 games in, on the back of 2 wins, after a tough start. Just my opinion

Like I said, my opinion. You're entitled to yours.

In my opinion, this cup is our best opportunity to rest players especially with a more than massive game coming up. And that we did.

I am actually better than Hibbert. I have some pyar boss skillz on the football pitch mate.

Just because you know I'm right doesn't mean you have to resort to being rude mate.
how many times you going to write mate? You can have your opinion you've just unfortunately got nothing back it up cause clearly you don't know anything lol

Because it is the derby. Would you like us to have been Liverpool tonight playing till 10:30.

It's the capital one cup. I wanted to win. I'm angry and pissed off too but tomorrow I'll wake up and it will be forgotten.

backed that up well didn't ya! Clearly an absolute [Poor language removed], just cause he weren't the best player at the club don't mean he wasn't liked does it? Your probably a donkey ln the pitch and hed fold you in half in a tackle, go on a united forum ya mong

No need for this type of name calling, you can have a 7 day ban for that.

That I don't understand. Should've been full strength on Sunday without a doubt.

I was in work but when I got told we got beat 3-0 I honestly wasn't bothered in the slightest, couldn't give one, especially having seen the lineups.
If Rm was not going to try and win the match, why not give it over to putting out all those players who are underperforming and have them try and get some form back and some cohesion back in the side. A wasted opportunity since we now go into the derby with the same pathetic performers on Sunday not having had the chance to get some form or understanding back.

I think we are missing the point somewhat though. We talk about this being the best squad we have had in years etc, so in reality making 7 changes should not be harming us that much, well not as much as it did tonight anyway. The players who came in were mostly internationals/experienced PL players and who could/should be able to get into the first team, so why put in a performance like that?

There were over 1500 Everton fans who made the journey and regardless of the rest of us, they deserved a lot better than they got.

People say they are not interested in the COC, well i am and so should the players. They are professionals and should be going out to win every game they play in, not just turning up for a run around. We are Everton and we deserve better, starting Saturday at 1245pm!!
