I think arguing with Damon about Moyes is futile to be honest.

He sees someone saying something critical about Moyes and then immediately tries to think of a defence for Moyes, rather than looking at both sides and coming to a reasoned conclusion like reasonable people do.

He will not be reasoned with. When have you ever seen him admit he was wrong? Or even acknowledge an opposing opinion with something other than arrogance and disrespect?

As for these comments, I'm getting used to it. There's a difference between realism and defeatism.

Guess what mate, i don't speak FBI. I speak British English.

Using Wikipedia to shoot down the Oxford English dictionary.

I hope you're just being a bad popcorner because otherwise you're just being a bad tit.

Why do some people have to assume (or rather, use as a slight, whether they think it or not) that people are popcorners for saying what they think? Or saying that if you, for example, support Moyes you're "insane", "a lunatic" etc etc. Rant over.

Chill out mate, it's not that big of a deal that our manager thinks that we're going to be in a relegation battle unless we really pull our finger out. It's not a big deal that we've taken 4 points from a possible 9 against this years promoted sides AT HOME. It's not a big deal that Moyes thinks Phil Neville contributes more to the team than Barkley would.

Not a big deal. At all.

As opposed to posting on every thread moans about Barkley (who broke his leg last year).

Please. *rolls eyes*

Threads like "Survival First" would be first on the list thats for sure.

As TheEqualiser said. Some need to CHILL OUT.

Laughing.

That title is the line all these have gone for - because its the right one.

From Danny's post:

"We have now got three away out of the next four games and that is tough. There is no point me saying this is the start and then finding we can't back it up."

So basically says the Moyes thinks all his players are ****e and doesn't think that they can put a run together in the next few games?

I thought the job of a manager was to instill confidence? Not shoot it down when the players look like they could pick up some decent form?

The vast majority agree with you.

But then, there are some...

I was referring to him using wikipedia over the OED when defining what a word means mate, not his opinions about Moyes.

It makes me laugh when some think they're coming to "reasonable" conclusions when they're constantly having premptive moans .

Its agenda filled drivel really mate. Like I said. If he said we're in Europe - he'd be criticised. If he said nothing - he'd be criticised. If he said something cautiously optimistic - he'd be criticised.

RFUS is one who'd criticise him either way. Then say he's "reasonable"

Again with Barkley.

I think most regulars on here can see I hardly ever mention Ross, and when I do it's with a dose of realism. I keep saying he shouldn't be starting. All I've said is that he should be making the bench at least, and hopefully getting some appearances. And yet you keep spinning this nonsense.

I think this is one of those "making mountains out of molehills" things.

With Damon refusing to acknowledge the existence of soil.

Every week you mention Barkley. Every week without fail on the match thread.
