Bill: "yeah sure David, send me your list and we'll look at it"

Moyes: "so I'll have the money to replace him"

Bill: "yes David, we'll give you as much as we can I'll give you a call when it all goes through".

Moyes: "ok then, speak to you later"

....

8 hours later Moyes is still waiting on the telephone call.
