I'm not even going to try to predict anything. As I said in an earlier post, it'll be the closest we've come in a long time to getting a nearly full strength team out* which means it'll be ok on paper, but needing a bit of time to gel. For anyone who gives a sh*t, my best guess is

Pickford

Manquillo Kone Djilibodji Van Aanholt

Kirchoff Rodwell

Watmore Januzaj Khazri

Defoe

That assumes that N'Dong isn't going straight into the side.

Still, Borini, Cattermole, Mannone and Larsson out.
Pickford
Manquillo - Kone - Djilibodji - Van Aanholt
Kirchhoff - Rodwell
Januzaj - Khazri - Pienaar
Defoe

Is how I think we'll line up Ndong on for Kirchhoff or Rodwell at some point same with Gooch and Watmore for the more attacking subs

My lad was just saying that Moyes had said he would have won a title with us if he had had a proper striker???
I think we could have got top 4 a couple more times with him if we had a Lukaku type, but win the league?, he was happy with 2-1 defeats against the top 4, couldn't buy a win against any of them away.

If he's said that he's talking out his hoop.

I reckon we will weather their early flurry, take control and score a deserved opener half way brought the first half. Rom will then miss a series of chances to make it two nil, and with 20 mins to go Sland will equalise, setting up an end to ender which ultimately finishes a draw to everyone's frustration.
Bring It On!

Let's not forget that there is a BIG difference between what David Moyes thinks 'a good CF' is and what an actual good CF is. Bent was probably his ideal striker. Doesn't matter that they don't score goals, just get them running around up top by themselves.

Fair point.

Let's not feck about tonight, unleash The Kone from the start, couple of their defenders might not even come out the dressing room if they see he's starting.
