God I get frustrated watching our trials and tribulations never mind seeing another club's. I'm guessing it would make me cringe how society has gotten, the famous Beckham boot incident if occurred nowadays would involve 14 police cars and a call to childline.

Just watched the first episode of this and it's great viewing.
Good, honest people with no playing up to the cameras as often happens in stuff like this.
A great programme about a great club who truly belong in the top league in my opinion.
So far this season, it looks like they are moving in the right direction.

Seems like excellent propaganda by the club to me. Gets a bit of pride back for the fanbase (weirdly), makes people forget how much of a failure and how badly run they’ve been and then makes them a few quid, win win.

The agreement to do the series was when we were in the PL expecting another great escape. Then once we were relegated it was thought it would be about our rise back to the PL obviously that went well but as soon as the cameras started rolling there was no going back lol By the sounds of it there's going to be a part 2 about this season (hopefully a good ending) a few of the makers are massive Sunderland fans

Whatever happens next will happen, I think it is likely they will probably do quite well in the play-offs or similar.

Watching all the Mackem headpatters give it the big balls last season and then finish absolutely rank bottom was masterful. A full season of joy, especially at one point where they thought they'd turned a corner.
