Good but needs a 4-4-2. His last season in the 4-5-1 he just dropping back to get the ball when we needed him in the box. Had a decent streak for Spurs. Not a bad buy if the salary is OK IMO. Plays good against ratf#$k Terry.

Forgot about that, weird if they end up paying anything near that amount. Sessegnon staying is key to them, he's a very decent player and has done well in moving up front.

Strikes me as another one of those players who goes under the radar to most fans. I like Sunderland, after 2 years at the uni there many years back - they're much nicer than the gobshoite geordies, and I hope Saha does well. Given the choice of Fletcher for £14m and Saha on pay as you play, i'd always go for the latter.

People might disagree but I think the reason he petered out at Everton was that he wasn't playing in a front 2 with someone good.

The reason he did well at Spurs is that he wasn't isolated on his own and had chances created for him - there's no question he can finish and has talent.

He could be a good signing for you lot.

He was the business mate.

Everyone's covered it with the infrequency thing, if he'd produced it week in week out he'd be at Barca or Real Madrid, in his last year he was pissed off with the long ball game and it showed.

Think it's probably too late for him now mate but if I'm wrong you've got a player and a half there.

I'm surprised Sunderland havent been in for Gueye. He's actually played great against them. A straight swap for Sessegnon and Ellis Short would be nice.

When he was good he was very very good , when he was bad he was awful !!
Scored 4 goals in a game v Blackpool and was awesome but he could have games when he wouldn't move 2 yards to reach a pass

He'll score three in his first five games, you'll all fap over him and then he will not score for six months, do his legs in around January and leave at the end of the season £40k a week richer.

It's a poor signing to be honest. He should never, ever be ahead of Wickham on the team sheet as he's the guy you should be hoping comes good long term. And to be honest Fraizer Campbell is a player I rate; I'd have him ahead of Saha too, injuries allowing.

I understand the need for squad depth but the money you're spending on wages could have been put to picking up a useful lower league striker on a gamble. Let's put it this way - you won't be extending Saha's contract come the end of the season :)

I've always been a fan of Saha.

He plays the game standing still, but when he has the ball he can do some amazing things. Easily one of the best hitters of the ball we've had at Goodison Park in recent years, too bad he's a bit of a sicknote.

I really wish him well at Sunderland, always came across as a really down to earth guy.

Yeah he'll score a couple in his first few and you'll all be like: 'Haway man he's a right cracking player, like.'

Then you'll see the real Saha and be like: 'Fookin 'ell man run man! Lazy prick him, like, pet.'

Spat my coffee over the pc, still laughing at the real Saha line
