Summer transfer window.

I don’t think it’s an either/or - we need a right back, striker, defensive midfielder and another winger, then we can be ready for everything next season throws at us.
Same think we can improve in most positions also can see some players being moved on. Who would then needed to be replaced maybe get good offers for tim, alcaraz ect. Do agree on that we cant go another season without improvements at fb now is becoming a joke how many years it has been ignored

How many full back are we better by linked with?
Recruitment must be all over this after three windows of research.

Just watch, Davey will have it raining full backs in the summer.

I'm unsure as to the nature of your point

Merely to point out an inconsistency; in how you present age as one of the determining factors in whether a player has room to grow or not

Seems a little neglectful of nuance but, then again, this is the internet

So the inconsistency is neglecting the nuances of a player aside from age?

I wonder why I was one of the only posters to be happy when we were linked to Tarkowski for multiple reasons?

I also wonder why I was one of the only posters to be unhappy when we were linked to an injury prone Merlin Rohl for multiple reasons.

Two exact cases of me taking into account multiple factors aside from age.

Doesn't seem that you've throught this through or done your homework.

Oh well, it's the internet I suppose...

And Branthwaite, therefore, a near 24 year old with a long history of injuries? Is he young enough to put it behind him, or is he now a dud asset?

It can appear as though, sometimes, you'll use the age of a player to justify an opinion you've already formed, regardless of whether that's consistent.

'It can appear as though"

You've tried this in your last post and it didn't work out as planned. There's no substance behind your post.

As for Branthwaite I think @Simon Buttle and I discussed it ages ago and my opinion was that he's our player and far ahead of any other centre backs when fit. Cost was sub £1mil so theres no real risk there on investment.

But I certainly wouldn't be signing a player like him for £70mil+ with that catalogue of injuries at his age.

Your ego is breathtaking at times. I can't think of another poster that matches you in terms of the disconnect between how highly you rate your own opinions and how much everyone else completely dismisses them.

Just noticed some Jarg rumour ( obviously just jumping off the back of the Moyes news )
saying Aznou will be handing in a transfer request..

Wouldn't normally post that kind of tack, but hey we've got a long break ahead still..
Would be more shocked if he didn't put in a transfer request this summer. He doesn't hang around clubs long and the manager doesn't fancy him

I hope he does, he’s not going to be playing left back in the Prem anytime soon.

Move him on and bring in a first choice left back. Keep Myko as a squad player.

Absolutely no point in keeping Aznou at Everton next season.
