Summer transfer window.

Agree with that, but Grealish brought some individual class into the squad that hasn't been seen for awhile here.
I actually think that if we managed the unthinkable and brought in two high quality attacking fullbacks with Grealish and Ndiaye able to come inside (even with the fact that Ndiaye is better on the left), with KDH joining from deep, we would have a really potent attacking set up.

Having wide players that like to come inside with no-one to overlap and misfiring strikers thougj, unsurprisingly delivers limited results.

If he comes in and makes an immediate impact who cares? I would much rather that than a project signing that ‘needs time to settle’.
Just have to be careful with the new rules of turnover to wages. Buying ageing injury prone players on big wages can get you in trouble as they are hard to shift off the wage bill if they don't work out well as we well know from the Moshiri era

Yeah, we've just signed a project player and look how thats going.

When it comes to strikers, you need a 'Now' striker on your hands before you look at projects..

A so called 'Now' striker is going to demand service though and good quality service and tbh we can't offer that as the setup is too restrictive imo. Its just not designed to get the best out of a striker, its a functional setup more than anything.

I think its an open secret we'll bring in 2 new starting full backs and a centre forward.

Makes you wonder though, if we had the inside track to sign the worlds top 3 u21 players in those positions, why would they join and even then, would he start them consistently.

If we get Europe he'll be forced to use the young players, however like Aznou if they perform - they wont get chances over his favourites.

Going to be a very interesting and I suspect a disappointing summer.
The disappointment will come when we don’t sign 2 starting full backs
I’d say Moyes is quite happy with Jake at RB and Myko seems to be getting forward a bit more
Signing Rohl and Grealish will take 40/50 million from the budget
I’d look at Ben White from Arsenal as a signing
Not getting a look in at Arsenal and he fits Moyes criteria
Can play CB and RF
Is over 6 ft
Premier league experience
Granted you won’t like him as he’s old enough to shave regularly but Moyes being Moyes would definitely be interested

Someone like Richy makes there own game, so do most "Now strikers" Project signings are the ones you have to integrate in to your system..
