We must be in an absolutely amazing PSR position. Surely one of the strongest in the league. Not sure how the rules are changing, but it's clear the owners have made a decision to attack massively in the summer and build a squad that's title-challenging. Exciting times!

The way I see it is the new owners have refused to dig too deep into their pockets so far in three transfer windows. A very modest net spend for a squad that was desperately poor. Will they all of a sudden decide to invest significantly more? I highly doubt it. There was a golden opportunity to push for Europa League at a minimum this season and they willingly passed up on it.

Maybe with the new squad cost ratio coming in and it being 70% in Europe and 85% if you’re not. It would be beneficial not to be in
Europe next season
