Fatawu at Leicester to me is more of a natural winger, wants to run out wide to the line and put passes/crosses into the box.

Not good enough. Went to King Power recently and was anonymous against Charlton ffs.
Ben Nelson, Centre. Back, was the only one who looked the PL part (but very raw) as I posted at the time

Maybe I am too pragmatic. Assuming we stick with a 4-2-3-1 then I would define wingers as the two players on either side of the 3. Moyes has played either McNeil or Armstrong there in the last 5 games.

That’s not because Armstrong is a winger or wide player it’s because Moyes has this strange obsession of starting off young players not in their right positions , he’s spent his youth career and the 50 games he’s played for derby and Preston in midfield.
Was jags and yobo centre midfielders ? Or lescott a left back or Arteta a wide player. All players Moyes played out of position in their early days at Everton

Also think atm has not been convinced on players like Dibling, and mcneil form has prefered armstrong becuase hapoy with his work rate and in training. But for me really should be used in midfield rotation and used with kdh in a three. I could see armstrong being similar to kdh in the future.

I think he’ll turn out very good but we’re also completely fine atm for centre mids. Zat seems to think he’ll end up a right-back which just won’t happen.
