Summer transfer window.

Archie Gray, young and hungry, snap him up if Spurs sink
They wouldn't sell him. He's not one of their top earners and he's young enough to not want immediately out of there.

Spurs still have immense potential due to their stadium. If their board puts their hands in their pockets, they can be a top side again.

I don't expect them to go down, but any player leaving them if they do go down really needs to have his character and attitude analysed in great detail before people even start to think of putting in an offer.

When have they ever been a top side ?

I guess I'm classing regularly challenging the top four as being a top side. They've had in Europe for years, Europa League winners, won domestically more recently than us, etc. Add in their financial firepower due to their mega stadium as well.

They have massive potential, which to me makes it even more insane how they are underperforming the way they are.

They can't even use wages or transfer fees as an excuse any more, as the likes of Simons, Romero and Madison are all on about £160,000 per week. £55 million each in fees for Simons, Solanke and Kudus, n'all.

Think you're confusing profligacy with success. Signing average players (Kudus aside) for inflated fees doesn’t make them a big club. Simons is tripe. Utter tripe and should stop putting Xavi on his shirt, insult to the one true Xavi. Anyway...

A stadium also doesn't mean they've any right to be considered a big side. Well run off the pitch but terrible transition from boardroom to pitch.

Oh is Archie Gray good again? Lots of “not even PL standard” shouts just a week ago. Fickle bunch.
No I will stand by it, yes he did have a few runs with the ball last night, but he gave the ball away an awful lot in easy situations. I have him in a similar space to Dibling tbh, clearly there is something there with these lads but they are nowhere near what some make them out to be (yet)

Pretty decent under Pochettino, that's why the wheels came off sacking him and replacing him with that relic Mourinho

The wheels also came off ( and why Pochettino left ) because Levy wouldn`t put his hand in his pocket to take to buy " next level " players= standing still and progessively regressing, as we`re seeing now.

First 2 paragraphs I agree With, not the last 2.

I think he could easily be removed this summer. He wasn’t the man TFG wanted, hands were forced somewhat in the January, if the man they want is available why wait.
Also the season isn’t finished we could get 8th and quite easily finish 14th, Witt the poor home form and the tough run of fixtures, I will be amazed if we get top 10.

And unless Branthwaite demands a move same as Ndiaye, they wont be going anywhere. TFG spent 130mil last summer the rumour is they will spend the same, maybe more this summer. We also have squad players hardly getting games who could be moved on and we could raise 70/80mil from them sales
Hope you're right... Who are the people you'd move on for that 70-80m number?

for me it'd include Patterson, McNeil, Gana, one of Beto/ barry, maybe Rohl.

I couldn't get to 70/80m on that bit perhaps 60m.

You think Myko is told to put his crosses behind our forwards and straight to the nearest available defender? Or play simple passes out of play?

Lad just isn’t very good.
I've wanted Myko to be good for yonks . He's genuine, just neither

a) a threat going forward ( all too rare ) which is a shame, as he's shown he can do it, on occasion.

b) top class at the back

Myko? he’s out of contract so
Don’t know if we have an extension or we have an extension or we give him a new deal just to sell.
Gana I think may stay if Moyes stays.
Rhol we haven’t bought yet, but have to buy him, I’d be surprised if we buy him and then sell him in the same window.

Because of Rhol , Armstrong and potentially keeping gana. I’d sell Tim and Alcaraz. It will also be Beto going not Barry, he’s still only 23 and can get better. Beto ain’t improving

He's certainly been toughened up playing there right now. He's been dropped in the deep end a lot for a kid being asked to play so many positions.
Ive no idea how good he actually is but going anywhere else will seem a picnic I'd imagine.
