Summer transfer window.

That's weak and pitiful.

He had the squad this season to use but didn't.

I can only hope the words are interpreted by TFG as a goad and deflection away from a poor season and he gets his cards for it.

Also, if you were TFG you'd be thinking: "Hold on: if this feller is so concerned about transfer windows then why is he going over to the US for a 5 week jolly to stuff more cash into his bank account rather than focusing on his transfer lists?"

This feller is horrendous and most Evertonians have called time on him. Hopefully TFG do likewise ahead of time.

Yeah, I thought Kinnear's programme notes closed the case on this, but over the last week I have started to have doubts. The pitiful performance at home to Sunderland, the fan reaction emptying the stadium turning the Coleman departure toxic, the sense that fan media has swung against him (with open suggestions we should be talking to others), and now comments like this suggest things are not as cut and dried as maybe I thought they were.

Why would you be calling out the owners like this? Surely he knows the extent of their "ambition." I reckon he's not certain to stay on - at least in his own mind - and is now engaged in a propaganda campaign as demonstrated by that Beesley character in the Echo this week. When you're reduced to slagging off the most successful manager in history, the only man to win each and every one of the top five Euro leagues, not to mention four European Cups, you're probably feeling a little uneasy...

If TFG are genuinely ambitious and have ears to the ground locally, they'll be making an easy decision next week.

I reckon for sure now there'll be no extension...unless he stays until next season and he gets us deep into top half by Christmas. He'll need more than one "Marquee" signing for that.

Anything short of that and he;'s gone, IMO. These fans will not put up with him for too much longer.

He knows it too. Hence his mouthiness and slight kicking out at the owners.

His ego cant stand it. The shame of it is that the decent available managers will be gone by next January.

His press conference yesterday was hilarious: "I wont contact Mikel just yet because I know how difficult it is when you've just won stuff, I know that".

Lol.

Calling out the owners to go big is quite bold if, as we have been told from the very top, Moyes has final sign off on all incomings.

With add ons, isn’t Dibling our second most expensive player, and based on playing time, has had zero impact on this season. Other teams found unheard of strikers and wingers cheaper and better than Barry etc.

They did allow him to spend the most on a single player, I think, since 2017. Not sure what else they could do. He managed to get them to fund players that clearly weren’t first choice options last year.

Given how many players rebuffed our approaches, it would be fair to assume they agreed to buy all the player Moyes signed off on last year?

Would expect a few Texan sniggers about this rallying cry tbf. It’s a sound bite purely for the fans benefit about ambition.

TFG have provided him with cash, data, entire analysis companies to boost the squad. He bought Aznou and played Dwight, a player 13 seconds from leaving the club, over the main acquisition.

We all know you only sign off the options the CEO gives you. So you might not be that fond of either.

Also Moyes hasnt got much time in management. He is 100% putting getting success asap rather than worried about staying in a job.

Said the other day he has the look, demeanour and actions of someone expecting a new contract but hasn’t heard from his bosses about it.

Everton eyeing summer swoop for Stuttgart’s Jamie Leweling
Everton are looking to add a new winger this summer despite the decisions needing to be made over both George and Jack Grealish.

A report from Sky Sports Germany has claimed Everton are one of the sides showing an interest in Leweling.

The Toffees are joined by Bournemouth in showing ‘concrete interest’ in the right-winger, who is valued at €50m (£43m) by Stuttgart.

Anybody know more about this guy
Mid 20's and nobody's heard of him before, Stand out player, Solid link.

He wants success now before he retires but spent the majority of his transfer kitty on “ones for the future.”

Sound more like he was trying to do both. But his main superstar for the now only lasted half a season. His striker for now (with a bit of development early in the season) turned out to be a bit rubbish and largely unpopular. And his expensive ones for the future look like they may need a season on loan, after a season of doing literally nothing.

…..bit mixed I’d say. Rohl certainly been used but maybe should’ve been used more, Barry has also been used and I’d say both are certainly ‘part of the squad’. Obviously KDH a central part of the team. There’s only Aznou and Dibling who I’d say have not ‘been part of the squad’, Aznou low money, low risk.

Ultimately Dibling has been the big disappointment but the acquisitions have generally been young players and mainly ‘part of the squad’. The older players you refer to were inherited and I expect many will be transitioned out with rebuild over next 12 months or so. It won’t be instant.
'Inherited' doesn't help the case once you extend contracts.
Barry, more of a forced gametime move as Beto wasn't doing much back than, that's why it was a forever cycle of in and outs for them both.

Rohl has got more gametime now because I think Moyes knew he couldn't get away with it anymore after the City game. Of course he was still able to not praise him though.

Armstrong brought back because he was worried about squad depth, and than thrown to the wolves.
But he got 'Young player of the season award' so sure that makes up for it.

Dibling - Poor poor management.

Aznou - God knows on him, possibly a buy to sell player like Charly

Tim - Without suspensions, Afcon, and Garner covering Fb spots, how much would have we seen from him.

There is no real case behind his lack of use of are younger players.
