Summer transfer window.

Regular beans, just a solid beans to beans midfielder that can roll around the pitch is a more mobile player than Soucek.

When Moyes signed him for West Ham a few years ago, it was a decent deal and they've certainly had their moneys worth from him. When we were rumoured to be interested at the start of this season, I paid extra attention to him.

He's so slow getting around the pitch. Once your past him he can't recover, if your on the counter he struggles to catch up with play. The one thing he's really effective with and why he still gets minutes is because of his aerial ability at both ends for set pieces. That's it. Nothing else. And that's what worries me with Moyes. It would be the kind of signing he likes not because of footballing ability, but aerial ability.

We desperately need players who can transition with pace from defence to attack and carry a threat without relying on set pieces. I'd be absolutely devastated if he rocked up at Everton.
Players with pace at Everton….we won’t have that here sir!

….bit of a catch22, they have to earn further game time when they’re given opportunities.

Saying that, I do agree that Moyes should rotate his players more when they’ve earned his trust. Iroegbunam, Armstrong, George in particular should’ve been utilised more and that would also have saved KDH and Ndiaye running out of steam.
Dibling literally got about an hour in total. I can understand if he'd had 1/2 an hour 7 or 8 times and shown nothing. Aznou got about 10 minutes. He spent £45 million on those 2 alone. If he stays he needs to use preseason properly and get his signings in early.
