Summer transfer window.

Really should be seen as a positive rather than negative.

Sunderland signed around 15 players in the summer .
Almost every player they had on the field yesterday have only been with them 8/9 months.

They also lost a couple of their key players.
We lost our really poor players that were never being kept on.
This all day, it was a massive opportunity missed, all down to fear and weakness from the ceo and manager.

Look at us now, extending contracts of absolute failures we could have let go when we could have properly addressed the squad, shedding the weak mentality and resetting properly.

I was gutted that we gave Keane a contract back then, and now we’ve have him another year ffs. Bet mctreacle stays now as well.

As it stands I dread to think who Moyes and the committee are looking at signing, but if you are a young player you are avoiding us like the plague.

Can’t wait to see Keane and Tarks starting our 1st competitive fixture next season.

Can’t say I’m currently happily dissatisfied with the situation.

Explains why they find themselves in the league position they are in.

Some absolute horrors there 🤮
Every manager makes bad signings tbf

He made some decent ones too. Soucek at 17m been a very good signing.

Bowen good signing.

They made a profit on Kudus.

Some good, some bad.

Davey looks for 1 good:4 bad signing success rate mate, so he’s about right with wham?

Where is he with us?

Not looking forward to the summer , Angus and crew dont fill me with any confidence.

This means it will be likely be left to Moyes which is probably worse.

The owners are extremely hands off , moshiri has been here more , so no big changes will happen and it looks like the ambition is just to exist.

Don't worry mate, they always said it was a 2 pronged transfer window plan of attack, completely ignoring Januarys window as that doesn't count.

We're in great hands!

Given how poorly the season has ended you would think with the recruitment team in place they’d start off fairly fast with the transfer activity to get some positivity back. Somehow I don’t think that will happen
