Summer transfer window.

This all day, it was a massive opportunity missed, all down to fear and weakness from the ceo and manager.

Look at us now, extending contracts of absolute failures we could have let go when we could have properly addressed the squad, shedding the weak mentality and resetting properly.

I was gutted that we gave Keane a contract back then, and now we’ve have him another year ffs. Bet mctreacle stays now as well.

As it stands I dread to think who Moyes and the committee are looking at signing, but if you are a young player you are avoiding us like the plague.

Can’t wait to see Keane and Tarks starting our 1st competitive fixture next season.

Can’t say I’m currently happily dissatisfied with the situation.

tony,grealish,stones, ( stones i don’t get )

he’s injury prone tbf he’s prob better than
keane and tarks

JB and JO are the starting CBs we need a left back and a right back alongside that

we’ve been in talks for players

i’d like bowen but he won’t leave london
Not being funny Matt but I’ll only believe it when I see it and we are completing the signing. We were in talks last summer with Tete, Delap and other players but all Moyes said was they wouldn’t come because not in Europe. Being in talks means bugger all.

Not looking forward to the summer , Angus and crew dont fill me with any confidence.

This means it will be likely be left to Moyes which is probably worse.

The owners are extremely hands off , moshiri has been here more , so no big changes will happen and it looks like the ambition is just to exist.
Moyes’ buys have been the only positives,he wanted Grealish and KDH for quality and experience. Angus and the boys wanted younger players like Dibling and Barry. It’s pretty clear who done the better.

Explains why they find themselves in the league position they are in.

Some absolute horrors there 🤮
They’re in the position they in due to signings like:

Kilman 40M, Fullkrug 27M, Guilherme 25.5M, Todibo 33M. Too many very expensive flops.

They wouldn’t move for Maguire as the DOF thought he was too expensive and yet he spent more money each on signing Killman and Todibo and they have been hopeless.

They were too interested in losing potential future transfer fees and ended up relegated and will now have to have a fire sale that will cost a lot more.

Sound, I still feel he has contributed and there’s still some absolute shockers in that list.

We're not gona agree on this which is sound. Moyes was the one who came in and saved them from relegation. 3 of the 4 seasons after they finished top half. Lopetegui took over the squad that finished 9th.
Moyes is stubborn conservative and annoying. But west ham were safe under him. They wanted more than that. Completely fair. They rolled the dice and it hasnt worked.
There isnt a manager in the world who hasnt got some shockers on their CV.
