Summer transfer window.

We have more people on our transfer committee than we do new signings.
We need;
A new left back
A new right back
A striker who even remotely looks like he’s in control of his limbs.

That’s what we needed at the start of January, that’s what we need now. Yet in January we recalled a central midfielder from a loan and signed a winger.

Agree, we also need a mobile midfielder to replace gueye.

You could argue last Summer we bought
a new left back - never plays
a striker - not in control of his limbs (although I think he shows promise)
a midfielder - never plays

Whoever is in charge of our recruitment for about 40 years has been stealing a living.

Alot will depend on Aznou being ready for next season along with Dibling, Armstrong & George performing to cement positions in the squad.

That would ease alot of issues in squad building and mean the focus can be on 2 or 3 positions.

Given that Aznou will have gone a full season and will have played about half an hour of first team football, it’s highly unlikely that Moyes will deem him ready for next season.

I see the gossip column in BBC is linking that RB Wesley that we were supposedly interested in to Man City for £45million (via Spanish media). Although think it’s the same outlet that linked KDH to City so maybe they just hate the Friedkins!

This is how I think we should be going into the start of the Summer window. I don't want any expiring contracts renewed except possibly Keane if we don't think a half-decent 4th choice is worth shopping for.

Lots of work to do but key areas, as always, are two full-backs and a striker.

That’s 5 new signings ,plus Rohl ,Grealish and George / AN Other
A lot of money I don’t think sales plus our summer budget would cover this
