Godfrey would do a better impression of Kyle Walker than Kyle Walker these days.
Will always maintain a string of academy and club coaches severely limited Godfrey’s career by not telling him he is a limited but blisteringly fast full back, and teach him a bit of football so he could at least gain territory going forward. Instead they all opted to have him as a too short centre back in low block back 4s where his speed was unused, unable to jump and unable to mark a man. Bless him.
