With no actual research i would expect the 5 years refers to the years the 5 can be paid over rather than total length of contract..if that's the case it's strange to do an 8 year deal.

I'm surprised Chelsea don't do a 5 year contract and then sell him to themselves for another 5.

Surely big clubs that are also half decent teams and in Europe would want Mbeumo as well though?

His game has kicked on exceptionally this year due to his understanding and gelling with Wissa.

Hard to recreate but not impossible.

Still an incredible player but time for Brentford to cash in.

Would be morale sapping as well as poor PR mate, you could just about understand him moving to City, but Personaly found the likes of Richarlison, Onana and Gordon moving to Spurs, Villa and Newcastle - clubs who’ve been rarely our peers being able to pick, choose and extract our best players.
