Can't see how this can possibly the case.
As I understand it , PSR only covers a 3 year period , and we certainly haven't been spending excessively recently.
If you combine that issue with the fact that many of our major wage burdens either have left , or are about to leave , then I doubt the accuracy of the BBC article.
As Keane is hopefully (at best) a fourth choice CB , then either he is due an enormous pay cut , or more likely , is on borrowed time. Same rationale applies to DCL in my mind.

Spend is only one of the factors, our revenues have been decreasing year over year. Also many of those albatross contracts we’ve still lived through parts of not all of the past three years.

Having said all that, I’d assume it’s closer to the 100 mark without anyone being sold.

They're out there. Just don't trust our ability to scout them, nor our attractiveness to convince them to come here tbh.

Massively disagree with this if honest first is a new scouting team, will give you havent had alot of time and the structure is not fully done. Second why aint everton attractive is new owners now who players will have seen what have done with roma, new stadium, in the prem and have eyes on progressing up the table. Not saying every player will come here but we will be able to convince players.

That’s a really good point. I guess for new owners it’s about risk taking. Lump 150-200 into improving the squad, reap the reward of new stadium revenue but the team must return at the very least Europa league football..
