Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Leeds would probably be satisfied with a 3rd loan covering his wages, there wont be a queue out the door for him. As cover im not totally against him sticking around for 1 more year, because of the rest of the business we have to do

Think we have an option in the second loan agreement to sign him permanently!

Fellows, btw, is not a Bosman. Rumoured price is 15 million. Robinson would also cost a fortune.

But who would come off the bench or replace injured players? Who would come in for Delap when he's not performing? What about Richy when he's injured? Is Fellows someone you count on being good for the entire season, capable of playing majority of matches? Who is your replacement RB if one of the three centre-backs is injured? Likewise, who would replace Gana, Garner?
Garner, McNeil, Myko, Patterson, Beto, +GK. Bench. Fellows at 15m, Delap at 30m, Richarlison a loan, A.Gomes a free, Robinson ??? £45m + ??? It doesn't look like crazy mad spending.

According to the Chronicle...

Sunderland face a battle to keep hold of their skipper Dan Neil with Everton reported to be circling. The club have done an admirable job of tying down the vast majority of their prodigious young squad to relatively long-term contracts in recent times.

How many times can you loan someone before you actually have to buy them?
I limit it to 2 years on football manager , any more is unrealsitic

Or is it

Even if we do keep a couple of the "undesirables" it doesn't mean we can't improve league position. Moyes already said he can't fix everything in one window but I'm sure he still plans on improving. I don't know why you have Garner there. He's not someone you want to build a team around but you need players for different roles. Garner can play several positions and he is generally pretty reliable. He doesn't excite but rarely lets you down either.

Injury-free Coleman could still be useful, he'd be happy to be second-choice and he's a great leader & good for morale. But at that age it's hard to see him suddenly being available much more. In an ideal world I'd buy a new RB, keep Coleman and sell Patterson for whatever someone pays for him.
Agree with this, Garner is like a Kevin Richardson type. Never complains, plays fairly well wherever they put him, deffo a good squad player!

I kno people have said rigg but well price could stop us while the links of neil and cirkin the lb both be in last year of deals. Might not be on riggs level but i think could be a great deal by us to get both

What other strikers did we have available really?

he doesnt score any of he goals Beto has recently and he misses the same missed chance also.

DCL is by far the worst starting striker in the league

We cant seriously be thinking of giving him a new contract.

Time for a new start
Again, you are missing what every manager he has ever had sees.
