Yeah if it was purely as a squad player and we were only covering his wages again then it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world I guess.

I don't know about that, his wages, allegedly are £90,000 per week, he is certainly not worth a fraction of that. Send him back to Leeds, he's their problem.

based on what I am seeing and hearing here and in other places, it seems like we need anywhere from 5-10 players this summer.

For me, I think we need to prioritise in the following order:

1: fast, pacey wingers x 2
2. A striker
3. Right back
4. Central midfielder who is a box to box style player

All of the above sadly need to essentially be starting 11 standard.

Beyond that we probably need squad/development players for:

1: defensive mid to replace Gana assuming he stays
2. Left back to improve on Myko’s attacking deficiencies
3: centre back to backup Jarrad, Jake and replace Tarky in a year or two.
4: Goalkeeper to come in and backup and eventually replace JP.

We've probably got 10 outfield positions to reassess and replace at least once or twice before time is called on Pickford's career. Priorities and such.

Leon Bailey likely available from Villa. Would be a hell of an upgrade on the wing for us. 27 though, so no resale value and would need to hit the ground running. They paid 30m four years ago.

For around 10-15m would be a good signing, has pace and a record of scoring goals

I genuinely think we are in with a good shout. We will offer him first team footy. New stadium, new owners with the potential of money being spent to create a better team, to suit him

Yeah see charles as a player for the future for the dm role but still imo would need another cm. Not sold on knight

I think it all depends on how it is presented to the player. New owners, new stadium, bright future, with the opportunity to be the main forward. I actually think it could be presented as a very exciting opportunity to be honest.
