IF is the ongoing problem. Already towards the end of Thursday in a week when Moyes said he was expecting deals and we have done one, and still have not addressed the priority positions of starting RB and RW. Guessing his press conference ahead of Roma will be the same old frustrated jargon of 'we're in for lots of players but we can't get them over the line'.

What's consoling is that very few other teams seem to be able to either. Generally feels a strange window all round, dominated by Chelsea controlling the marketplace by playing real life Football Manager and social media rumour mongers, no doubt fed by agents, setting the narrative.

After the last few days, everything seems to be very quiet today... strange.

Let's hope they are keeping everything very quiet and on Saturday just before kick-off they parade, Lopy, Dibling, Grealish, KDH and this Elton signing.

One way to get the fans going on Saturday if they haven't already destroyed the place.
