Not reslly because real madrid have sell on for 50% was making deal hard so could been from 50 + upwards

Must say, if we add £60-70m to this on KDH and Dibling we are 100% having to sell Branthwaite next Summer

Exactly this. Prudence needs to be in play or we gotta sell Branthwaire or N’Diaye. Need to get fair value or move on to next on the list.

Ideal scenario is we build for this and next seasons keeping our best players to add too, not replace. Even if longer term that’s the model for most.

All out gung ho signings ruined the club for years under the early times with Moshiri.

I imagine they'll only spend the money if they think they can sell for more in the future, that's what we need to start doing anyway.

No idea of the truth of it but 60 million due to a sell on clause was being mentioned. Could be rubbish. Although if he was available at a similar fee to Dibling I’d imagine we would have pursued it.

If they've already done that then there will be no need to sell Branthwaite either way. So far they've been telling the press it was more akin to rearranging the books than an outright sale like Villa and Chelsea.

Yep. I read it as we'd already bid 27+8 to hit 35mil, and they wanted 40, but it looks like they want 45mil for him.

This is absolute nonsense. No club in the world pays 40mil upfront.

Edit: Unless what he means is they want 40 before add-ons, which makes sense.
