Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Yeah I agree with that. I think because he knows he'll be in a short term tenure this time he wants to move things quicker than in his first spell. I think the broader issue here is whether he and the transfer committee are on the same page
It's clear they are not which is why I have suddenly started packing. His comments and mood last night was worryingly frank. Either the club pays above or beyond for the higher class players or must go to a lesser more risky approach but either way something must happen starting today.

I’m still holding out hope that the silence around him compared to Fofana is because it still might happen.

And if Tarkowski and Branthwaite are out? Like they currently are?

Great idea though 👍.
My position on re-signing Michael Keane has been very clear, we shouldn't have done it. However, we did and, yes, if any two out of Branthwaite, O'Brien and Tarkowski are injured then that doofus will have to play. At the moment, because we are essentially forced into playing O'Brien at RB, we only need one of them to be injured to result in Keane or Patterson playing. Signing an actual RB fixes that problem, at least.

Easy to misinterpret body language. I suspect there's a lot of posturing by Moyes as he likes to be the main man when it comes to recruitment. Similar to his ending at West Ham he doesn't like others taking over the transfer aspect of the managers job. It's why I wasn't sure he was the right fit for the project of Friedkins Everton going forward

Hello is that DFS

'Yes'

How much for that sofa

'£1000'

Bit much for me

'No problem'

Ok Bye

(Yet if you wait for the bank holiday sale you get it for £700, you dont just go and buy a worse couch for £700 because its not bank holiday)

Bank holiday sale starts day after deadline day? Great!

Wild that the idea of giving a player some sort of timescale to agree to the move is controversial.
