….not convinced after watching him recently, Goat. He’s my type of uncomplicated winger but a few times he ran at the opposition back four with options either side and got completely lost.

He’s been on the bench a bit as well with Baggies fighting big games which is also a bit off-putting, @Littlesue will have an opinion.

He plays for Norwich eggs and I can safely say ive never watched him play.

Think as far as the forward shouts go, if Utd are looking at Delap I'd be shocked and it really would be a sign of how far they've fallen.

So far as forwards that are available go, this Summer you'll probably have Jonathan David, Gyokeres, Ivan Toney as well if he wants back in the England squad for the WC. That's Arsenal, Utd and Chelsea targets there.

As for Delap, I dont think United or anybody can pass him up at 30m, but you only have to look at the boy Ferguson to see the risks.

Players who join United dont think they are joining a sinking ship, they see the mega wages and dream of making a difference.

Rashford wasn’t in the England squad. Utd have gambled 100mil on 2 young strikers and it’s gone tits up, I’m not sure they will take a punt on another young striker, Chelsea have a striker, delap wiii have to hit the ground running at Chelsea or he will be on the bench. There’s a lot of ifs and buts at the minute, regarding Delap. We will just have to see what happens, but I will be surprised if Chelsea go for him as a first choice striker and Utd will have to sell a couple of strikers first I’d imagine.

And Branthwaite has won a cap as an Everton player and will win more

There have been a few press reports this week linking Tom to Everton. Mowbray has been a bit of a disaster, he know idea who his best players are and keeps changing the team about. Tom been a bit unlucky to lose out, he still one of the better players (although that not saying much) lol
