Forget about Honda of course. S Korea market too , didn't even register with me. We've got Blues out there that can track imminent signings down to the hotel room they are staying in. If only we had a toffee or two that could guarantee an unknown player ot two a work permit, we'd fly

My point is we were happy to keep the "deadwood", as you described them, under certain terms. Whereas you were describing them leaving, alongside a non-playing as some sort of masterful strategy by the club.

The point remains the same though. Buying players in the later stages of their career can vastly improve the fortunes of a club, as long as they're the right players like.
