Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I agree with this when I look at the over financed disgrace that is MUFC.

BUT... Strangely the absolutely disgraceful mediocrity of well moneyed clubs like them, Spurs, City last year is not everything, and conversely creates the opportunity others need.

The way Brighton, Brentford ( who I think might unfortunately struggle next season ), Bournemouth and others have competed is an example of the opportunity that still exists.

'Bigger ' clubs that back that up with 50-60k fans weekly ( which will be us, and has been villa, bar codes, even Spurs etc), can then really press for top 5.

It's just we had BK and Mosh whilst those clubs flourished, in spells. And we still got a stadium out of it.

I don't like the reds, but do recognize they've spent well and show what can be done up and down the table with good ownership/ mgt. As we did under Moyes 1.0.

We'll feel good when we're back amongst the top 8-10 in a season or two looking for a Europe berth... It's worth it people!
Excellent post which I agree with completely. It's the hope that eventually we'll get it right and be successful that keeps drawing you in. I'm liking what I'm seeing from our new owners so far as they are building foundations first rather than Moshiri and his Hollywood image thing which as proved was a gamblers strategy gone wrong. Good decision making is what it's all about which is the secret to life in general
