Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Arsenal will finish 3rd at best. They’re more likely to be in a battle for top 5 than a title race. Vault this.
I am not sure. If they get an actual striker in along with Gyokeres and Zuba there is absolutely no reason why they cannot kick on from the last two years. I know Arteta bottles it but, it is more than possible. I also think, Slott will make too many tweaks to Klopps team and they will not be as good.

What’s Arsenal and Liverpool’s title chances got to do with an Everton transfer thread?
Not interested in the slightest on any scum 6 team.

Are we linked with Arteta again his name keeps popping up on this thread , I know we're usually keen on the older players I would pass , too much of a jerk for me

Sorry, I genuinely though I was in another thread - hence my post.

Anyway, ack to signing Woltemade.....

It's a strange feeling isn't it as football should be about emotion. But this modern version of the game is so soulless I don't even know why I bother still. I guess I've got Evertonitis
I agree with this when I look at the over financed disgrace that is MUFC.

BUT... Strangely the absolutely disgraceful mediocrity of well moneyed clubs like them, Spurs, City last year is not everything, and conversely creates the opportunity others need.

The way Brighton, Brentford ( who I think might unfortunately struggle next season ), Bournemouth and others have competed is an example of the opportunity that still exists.

'Bigger ' clubs that back that up with 50-60k fans weekly ( which will be us, and has been villa, bar codes, even Spurs etc), can then really press for top 5.

It's just we had BK and Mosh whilst those clubs flourished, in spells. And we still got a stadium out of it.

I don't like the reds, but do recognize they've spent well and show what can be done up and down the table with good ownership/ mgt. As we did under Moyes 1.0.

We'll feel good when we're back amongst the top 8-10 in a season or two looking for a Europe berth... It's worth it people!

Not an actual rumour is it?

Given he wouldn’t take a pay cut to join Chelsea I doubt he’s ever coming here
Linked with Fenerbache which is telling. Unless he nails some roots down this summer he'll just float around from team to team probably end up in Saudi.

He's possibly worth a gamble. I'm just not convinced we will, not atm, our situation is still quite delicate.

Moyes wants him, pal.
Find that really hard to believe, knowing that Moyes is usually meticulous about digging into the character of players and the only ones who ever tend to fall through the gaps on this are foreign players where he can't rely on speaking to a contact. It's well-documented that Sancho is a really difficult character and it's not like that could have gone under the radar. Ok, he's younger than Grealish, for example, but those wages and that attitude... Can't see it.
