Technically we do. Technically we could make a big sale or 2 in summer and then get players in. Depending on what league we end up in obviously

I was just saying it's technically possible. At some point I could imagine we will buy a player again using money. But I wouldn't say anything with any confidence at the moment

I think he started him in games where he didn't feel we could compete and was just basing it on him being the most likely to slot if a chance fell for him. In games where he wants us to actually compete he doesn't think he offers enough with his all round game. It's a sad state of affairs that a bloke who was struggling to get a start for Sunderland at times earlier in the season is now seen as our best chance of scoring but here we are. There's a lot of work to do whichever division we find ourselves in.
