Biggest thing we need in this next window is pace. Year in year out we have failed to bring it in. Look at the two attackers at Brentford a large part of their threat is pace.

We need to think our season starts 1st of July and that includes in here too for players threads etc.

Let's get this right this summer and be competent and competitive from the fist whistle in August.

Signing someone in June isn't as expensive as you might think. Amortization only calculates the time to end of June.

Need some statement signings that inject pace power and technique into the team especially in attacking areas.

Not sure than waiting to reach 40 points before working on the contracts is the best strategy. All our players with expiring contracts this summer can sign for another European club. Wouldn't want to lose somebody line gana because we are too slow to act.

I doubt that will happen.

There will be conversations already happening with people we want to keep/the manager wants to keep which I imagine includes Gana. I would think it alludes to the finer details on the financial side of stuff.

The fact we are still picking up results with a threadbare squad, with several players we know probably aren't up to it, our best player injured - gives me optimism that with a shrewd summer we could have the makings of a tidy team next season.

12 players under contract. Of those I would happily sell Patterson and extend / sign Alcaraz, Gueye, Doucoure and the 2 goalies. And bring 9 in. Doable. I believe we brought in 8 this season ?
