Well...

I didn't want to revisit this too soon, but it's an interesting one. You could potentially argue that we might be better riding on the crest of a wave this summer and selling him now that he's going to have increased his value. He's a likeable fella and he *does* have some attributes (though at the time I wrote that, we'd seen very little of them), and I'd admit that I didn't see this little patch of goalscoring coming from anywhere (I'd be amazed if anyone did), but he's so technically poor and sloppy at times that he looks like he could be related to Niasse. As things stand currently, as much as I'm delighted with the recent uptick in form, I'd still be minded to sell in the summer, but there is now at least some doubt about that and you've got to credit him for that because he was becoming a bit of a running joke.

Do that though and it's three new strikers needed straight away unless you want to sell him and offer DCL a new deal.

If not then it's all of Beto, DCL and Broja out and no one senior at the club as ultimately Chermiti is still very unproven at this level and been injured all season.

Perhaps that's the clean sweep Moyes needs to really stamp his mark but the CF signings under him didn't always work at West Ham (Haller/Scammaca) so I'd rather keep someone relatively proven and Beto is finally proving it with a run of starts.

Linked to Tottenham player Manor Solomon today, currently on loan at Leeds, 7 goals and 7 assists for them this season from the wing, believed to be available for around £15m

He’s a Left Winger so could replace Harrison in the squad, if he returns to Leeds.

Never do anything with Spurs, ever.

Per Transfermarkt: in 22/23 he missed 17 games after knee surgery, in 23/24 he missed the season with a meniscus issue, in 24/25 he missed a month with a hamstring problem.

Do we trust the Everton medical staff?

No thanks 👍 even if he was good I wouldn’t touch him

I would agree with most of that except I’d keep Lindstrom and you can’t be serious about Young
He will be 40 next season
He gets as many yellow cards as tackles right every game
Young will still be here.

You might not like it, but I reckon he won't be the only one offered another year.

We aren't successfully integrating 7,8,9 new players in to the squad
