im not sure if you understood my humour. by saying "he was ace in that bunker" i meant "he was good when he was dead" (killed himself in bunker.

I can understand wanting to change your version of history to cover the clear guilt you must all feel.

But the facts remain. You were on the side of the Nazis for the most of WWII. Since then you have made steps to appease and tried hard to be a good European country, but you have blood on your right wing hands, is all I'm saying.

I like the way that Finland pretends they alluded with the Nazis to prevent bloodshed. Absolute claptrap.

They then turned on them when they could see they were on the losing side, a la the Italians.

I don't think we have ever had an official apology from Finland, we should lobby it. Europe deserves it.

Everyone considers Finland to be about reindeers, fjords and Santa Claus. I don't see it as that, I bet they even stitched a swastika on Santa Claus during the forties to curry favour.

The aggressors were the murderous regime of the Nazi. It took some good people in the world to stand up to them.

Finland had a choice of opposing them. In alluding with them, I find them as equally guilty as the Germans for what happened.
