Barry should be retired and Besic is 26. If you’re comparing 26 year old Gaz Baz then it would be a more even contest but Besic (and the majority of the league) can (and did) run rings round the geriatric version of Barry.

Siggurdson is practically a forward, they should be occupying different areas of the pitch in the same team. Besic is in competition with Schneiderlin Gueye Baningime McCarthy and Davies for 2 slots and tbh I don’t see if everyone is fit and in form 2 players there better than a fit in form Besic.
