..I didn’t think Pickford was for sale. Perhaps i’ve missed something or perhaps there’s no transfers to talk about in the transfer thread.
He isn`t mate, it`s just that someone posted hypothetically that he must be worth 60 mil in todays market and it`s developed into this lol

If no ones been in the Moshiri thread it’s being reported that Mr M has bailed.

Probably explains the lack of transfer activity, if true.

As much as I would love to disagree with Valderrama, we finished 8th last year and 7th the year before, from the outside looking in, we are a mid table team. Obviously we want to improve, but realistically, if Mina just wants Champions League football, we are some way off that, we are probably aiming for 6th place before the season starts. For us to get in the Champions League, not only would we need to have a great season, we would need 3 teams from last seasons top 6 to have a bad season
To get 4th we need about 5 world class players.
We will see. Pickford is a far superior goalkeeper to Alisson having watched both. IF Alisson goes for above 60 Pickford will go nowhere for 25 mate.

As I put in the Pickford thread, he is a real winner and far mentally stronger than both Barkley and Rodwell. Alongside that Barkley and Rodwell have been plagued with injuries which have ultimately derailed their careers. It happens. Had Zidane had such injuries it's unlikely he'd have been the player he was. Such is life.

He made some mistakes as young goalkeepers do, but on the biggest stage of his career he excelled, that will mean a lot to top clubs.
If you were right there would be a scramble for him. Even the gossip columns aren't linking him to anyone.

...your missus is like mine then...

but back on topic: what's your reaction to reports of Jordan, having seen the vandalised toilets at FF, wanting to have talks with the Persian carpetbagger (who has apparently scarpered)...

...one thing's for sure; it's a rum affair!

I was thinking more of a combined keeper and centre half ?

If Marco was watching Southgate's tactics, he'll be having Pickford playing Sweeper/Keeper and Tosun Center Forward/Attacking Midfield, leaving more players to press

Then again, England seemed to be playing 6 wingers at times, and Everton don't have 6 wide players
