Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

I'd rather a club with stability than a club which is losing its best players consistently and it's managers are constantly in the media creating uncertainty throughout the club, yeah.

Plus like I said, Glasner had a great peak with Palace winning the FA Cup but look how quickly it has gone wrong and how much he cares about who he works for. It's all me me me.

It's possible to kick up a fuss but still have a good relationship with club and fans. Glasner is quickly losing both.

If Moyes kicked up a fuss we could have got rid of Kenwright.

He took the pay cheque and towed the company line.

Were you one of the fans who clapped him at Villa?

Moyes would happily go along with the Palace board.

He is a company YES man.
I've not spoke about Moyes though. I don't really care about him in this thread as this is about our next manager. I think Glasner is a good but not great manager. We would be in a better chance of winning a trophy under him than Moyes so I'd rather him over Moyes but I also think that if he came and did well it's likely he would only be here for two seasons, maybe three max. Ideally I'd like a manager who would stick around a tad longer.

They just appointed Gasperini who plays 3 at the back and is considered as a 'high risk hyper offensive' manager at Roma, I'm not sure why you think its all safe appointments under them.
A manager with about 20 years experience in Serie A who had done a brilliant job with Atalanta .
Not someone who has had one managerial job in Germanys top division.
We wont appoint a manager like this no matter how many names folks come up with

Gasperini has quite a unique and exciting style of play but in terms of a safe bet he is pretty up there in Serie A.

Not saying that to mean they will only play it safe - it was a great appointment though

Wouldn’t touch that glasner even if he was available to us the way he’s carrying on
Tend to agree.

He must already have his new club lined up, because his behaviour is going to scare off potential suitors who will be asking themselves if he is going to slag them off in public too, if he joins.

Imagine the Spurs board watching this, if they are inclined to dump Frank. Then again, maybe it IS Spurs he is going to and he wants to get himself sacked so Spurs can then get rid of Frank...

We have this wonderful thing called the internet to check things out.
