Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

The former Salzburg manager, who now coaches Al-Hilal. He was an interesting pick for them at the time as he's very young (only 38) and they typically appoint older, established names rather than an up and coming coach. He's won two consecutive Asian Champions Leagues since his appointment and most curiously, Salzburg have yet to win another league title in the two seasons since his departure.

Think Fabregas would be a great shout as a "Project" coach. He could have the same impact as Arteta at Arsenal.
We never seem to appoint anyone for a project we just seem to appoint fire fighters or flavour of the month managers.
The last one we appointed for the project was probably Moyes 20+ years ago.
Project?
There was no project.
Moyes was recommended by out going Walter Smith...because Bill - I don't really want to let you go Walter, but the crowd are on my back - Kenwright, didn't know who to go to next

Would be very forward thinking but I believe he's off to Villarreal. Matthias Jaissle could be avaliable though!
Yep, Perez confirmed for Villareal today, Palace linked with Pierre Sage.

We're not making the change, I've given up. Just have to hope now that Moyes does a decent enough job to last until next summer as if we end up making a change halfway through the season it won't end well for us.

I know he failed in Brazil but I still think there might be a decent manager there.
If we are to do one more season of moyes and he has a great season at Lille, it could be a good move next summer.
He's basically Arteta for me. And, I know, poor example as he just won the league but he was like 1-2 matches from being sacked originally. His only "claim to fame" is being Carlo's kid. Glad he's trying to branch out on his own and wish him the best.

He’d be too bold a move for Everton. I still think the universe will stop Silva going to Benfica and we’ll end up with him back just so our torture continues.
Silva is the only one of the fired managers since Moyes 1 I'd actually consider having back.
His zonal marking drove me nuts but at least I could see what he was trying to do.
He got very unlucky with Gbamin and having no real replacement for Gana.
He had us playing very good football towards the end of his last full season.
I'd take him over Moyes or Howe.
Everton being Everton will wait till the Geordies bin howe and be all over him.
and we can look forward to celebrating top half finishes and not much else.
