So we’re reduced to playing somebody as a striker who doesn’t score, just so he can make space for other players ?

All of the top sides have strikers who score goals, as do most of the crap sides in fact.

It's not a great position to be in at all, but we don't have that striker.

And while we all think Richarlison may eventually end up there, there's no evidence at all he can cut it there in the Prem.

So with Tosun woefully out of form, is it not better to stick with our best players in their best positions (for now) which for Richarlison is on the left, and have DCL up top who will suit playing Arsenal's sluggish defence more than Tosun?

Not for me.

When you’re playing a good side you play your best players. Based on this season and DCL’s performances last season Bernard and Richarlison are both better than him. I’d sooner play Richarlison out of position to get Bernard on the wing, than to have Calvert Lewin on the pitch.

Calvert Lewin should be out on loan getting regular games for a Championship team and learning how to score goals. Problem is I genuinely don’t think many Champsionhip sides would take him.

It will say a lot about standards at the club if this joker retains his place after two of the most lethargic, non-productive number 9 performances I've seen in a long time.

I'd love to see his number of sprints yesterday. His quality was dire and that can happen. But to stand still for long periods is completely pathetic.
Never been one of his greatest fans but I'm usually prepared to give players a chance.

Yesterday he was the worst player on the pitch by a mile and that's saying something given the competition he had. Static, no confidence, no desire. He needs dropping to the bench and working on to get his mojo back. I'd defo play Charlie up top against Arsenal and Bernard on the left.

Personally I think we should be playing with pace up top in all our away games anyway.

Crazy thought here. But maybe tosun will start scoring more when he has 2 brazilian internationals either side of him/behind him and a Portuguese European championship winner playing the balls from the midfield?
Problem is he had the chances against West ham. If it was simply a lack of service, you could understand, but everything he did was poor. I still think he will come good, but while he's in this form he shouldn't start.

Can hold Katy Perry concerts.
